The GPON is an intermediate device for PON evolution. It adopts TFF technology and can coexist GPON, XG(S)-PON, NG-PON2 and CATV signals in the same network environment. GPON and XG(S)-PON allow GPON and XG(S)-PON to coexist in the existing network without affecting existing services, and realize smooth evolution from GPON to XG(S)-PON, which is stable, reliable and convenient to manage , to meet the service rate upgrade requirements. At the same time, the broadband working range of 1260-1603nm provides support conditions for the evolution of PON.
