Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472, to allow access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver uses Sumitomo’s TOSA, ensuring stable performance and reliable quality. With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable for fiber communications application up to 10G.
