The UMC-GA1F1T Mini Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter bridges 1000BASE-SX/LX fiber to 10/100/1000Base-T copper networks, enabling fiber extensions up to 2KM (Multimode) or 160KM (Single Mode/WDM) via SFP modules. Its integration of Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) technology promotes efficient network maintenance and reduces downtime. With options for desk, wall, or chassis installation, the UMC-GA1F1T is a versatile solution for ISP networks and small office environments.

LFP/ALS/FX Speed/FX Reset

 

ALS (Automatic Laser Shutdown) Function-If enabled, the output power of the SFP transmitter will be automatically shut down in case of fiber break.

LFP (Link Fault Pass Through) Function-If enabled, when a device is connected to the converter and the TP/fiber line loses the link, the converter’s fiber will disconnect the link of transmit.

FX Reset-If enabled, when FX link is down, the power will shut down, but a few second later the power will restart automatically.
